Some thoughts/musings
Being the 3rd wheel sucks...

I got a few inches off my hair, and a few layers. All my best friend can say when I showed her was "It's not like you can tell", while in the past few days I have had lots of compliments on it. I don't know why she couldn't just say, it looks cute.

If I wanted to be ignored, I could be ignored by people I don't know.

Sometimes I feel like a consolation prize...

I'd like to meet some new friends

My last date was 3 years ago. How fucking pathetic is that?

First off.. saw the Seeker 2 weeks ago.. it was awful, on par with Eragon on the crap scale. If you love the Dark is Rising series.. do not under any circumstances see this movie. It is a waste of time/money/film, etc.

Second.. my newish promotion is going great. I've learned alot and am enjoying the new responsibilities.. and being able to assert my new found authority. Just today, I was able to stand up to this lady all of is hate.. she tried to get me to break the rules for her, and I wouldn't. She got grouchy and left.. Hahaha! Take that bitch.

Third..I am really getting the travel itch again. I want to be in Europe.. I miss it and think about my trip every day. If I had the money.. I'd be off in a heartbeat. Too bad there isn't infinite time and money..

I'm Not Dead
Hey hey! I know it has been way too long since I've updated this thing.. it's a combination of lazyness and lack of internet access. I've been house sitting since the beginning of July.. the lady went in for a surgery to have her ear re-attached properly (long story) and ended up having a stroke.. so that's why I've been at her house for 2 months. I'm not getting paid, but I'd don't have to pay rent either.. all I have to do is look after her kitties. In other news.. I've been going to tons of concerts, as usual. I've seen Academy Is, Powerspace, This Providence, Sherwood, Change of Pace, The Higher, Motion City Soundtrack, Sullivan, Just Surrender, The Classic Crime, June, and Paulson. I've also gotten a mini promotion at work. I've been made a back-up supervisor.. which came with an 8% raise.. which is nice. I have a few more duties/responsibilities. Still looking for another job.. cause I reall want to get the hell out of my parents house. Just got back from a trip to Yellowstone/Wyoming/Montana. I went with Lindsay to visit her grandma in Powell Wyoming, so we figured we'd drive the 2 hours to see Yellowstone too. Got there the day after the fire started.. and had to leave out of the Northeast entrance cause of the smoke blocking the East entrance.. which added another 2 hours to the drive back to her Grandmas. Was fun to see Yellowstone again.. cause the last time I'd been there was like 15 years ago.

Hope you are all doing well... hasta!

Life in General
Life is actually okay for me right now. I am now 100% over the Fuckhead (aka Kris) and rarely think about him, except to say, fucker, and then move on. I am sort of looking for another job... I need more money so I can get the hell out of my parents house. Also, I have lots of concerts coming up.. which I am looking forward to. Such as This Providence, Warped Tour, All American Rejects, 1964, and the Projekt Revolution Tour. I am in the market for some new bands.. anyone have some recommendations? I like all sorts of stuff, except the screechy screamy new metal stuff (like Underoath, Mastodon, etc.). Also, my cousin Elliott is coming out to CO for the week so we get to hang out! I haven't seen him for almost a year so it will be awesome to see him.

Mystery solved!
The case of AWOL Kris has been solved. He has a girlfriend. Isn't that nice? Apparently we can't even be friends. He's a coward and a fucker.

Alright... so.. that guy I was writing about? He has gone AWOL. March 30th, we go to a movie, we have fun, he texts me afterwards, saying how much fun he had, and how he can't wait to see me again. And I have not heard from him since. I sent him a message on myspace April 2nd, again on April 4th, an email April 7th, and a text on Easter, just to say Happy Easter.. no response. Is this really the behavior of a guy who supposedly can't wait to see me again? Or has he been lying from the beginning? At first I thought, hey maybe he is busy.. but now I think I have gotten the brush off.. If he didn't want to hang out anymore.. I wish he would have been man enough to say so.. not just cutting off all communication. I am sorry I let him get to me.. I definitely should have known better.. however, what do you guys think?

Dates and stuff
So I've been out with Kris twice now, and he is really cool.. I'd like to get to know him better. He and I have been messaged on and off, and I think the boy is smitten he actually said (typed) :You're a beautiful woman with a great outlook on life. that was after hanign out the first time, which was only 2 hours. sunday, we watched the av's gae and went to dinner.. and I met the majority of his family. I "met the parents" on date 2. they liked me and think I am nice. You all know better of course. We'll see where this goes.. oh and he bought me roses.

Potential Date?!
Scary but possibly true. A guy came up to me last night after the Love45 show and gave his business card and said he wanted me to call him. This has never happened to me before.. I am usually the one who watches other girls get numbers.. This guy had not even said a word to me the entire night. But I guess he saw us leaving and decided to suck it up and talk to me.. which I give him props for, cause it did take guts (or some other part of the male anatomy. I looked him up on Myspace.. found him and sent him a message. He wants to get togethor for coffee.. which is good and casual.. no expensive/long dinnr. If he's lame, I can cut and run.. but after reading his profile, he seems pretty cool, likes some of the same music, which is good. We'll see. stay tuned..

what is going on in my life
I realized I haven't posted on here in ages.. I am alive and looking for part time job #3.. well, techinically 2.5.. as Boulder is sporadic... No one has contacted me for an interview.. noteven the Loveland library who wanted a library page. I've done that for 7 years.. guess I'm too qualified? Barnes and Noble never contacted me either.. as if it so hard to run a register or help people find books. Eh well.. I'll keep trying. I am tired of living with my parents and want a place of my own, or at least with a friend. In other news, I saw Music and lyrics today, and it was hilarious. I just have to say that I love Hugh Grant. I have loved everything I've seen him in. Also, Thursday, for the first time ever, I drove myself to Denver! (Yes I know, at 24, that is sad and pathetic). Granted I took 287, which adds over an hour to the journey, but I-25 scares me. What was the reason? My cousin Micah was in town for a few days and I hadn't seen him since June. So.. I sucked it up and I went. All in all, wasn't too bad.. but Denver drivers are scary.. none of them have heard of turn signals. We hung out with his mom at the Denver Art Museum, and at the Denver Public Library, then played Life at my sisters new apartment. A day well spent.

Merry Christmas Y'all
Picture this: You have been gone for 3 months, you spend the night in London's Gatwick airport as you are heading home the next day. You get on a plane at2, bound for Dallas. You are on that flight for 10 hours.. you are going to be getting on another plane to take you to Denver. You land in Dallas, only to be told that your other flight has been cancelled. You think damn, but I can get on another one tomorrow. Alas, that is not the case. You can't get on another flight till Monday! Yay! That's right folks, I am stuck in Dallas Texas till Monday, due to the lovely blizzard at home. The airport is closed till late tonight, then all other flights are booked till Monday. How exciting.. I always wanted to spend Christmas in Texas...

4:00 pm
Hey everyone! I know it has been ages since I updated here. I am back in London now, and will be here till I leave for home on the 20th. Had an amazing time in Rome.. saw the Colloseum, The Vatican Museum with the Sistine Chapel!, St. Peters Basilica, The Duomo and David in Florence. Went to the beach in Britany France, along with the D-Day beaches in Normandy, Amboise castle in the Loire Valley, Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur Basilica, Notre Dame, Pantheon, and Disney Land.. In Paris! yes, I went to Disneyland Paris.. haha, yes, I am lame, but it was fun. Have met some really cool people that I hope to keep in contact with. One thing though, my brand new digital camera was stolen in Paris, we think by these vendors in Sacre Coeur.. they grabbed us, and spun me, and I believe that's when they got it from my bag. Thieving bastards!

Hi eveyone! I am in Rome! Just got in today from Portici, which is on the Gulf of Naples. Before that, I was in Venice! Venice was beautiful. Saw the Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge, Academia Bridge, and the Grand Canal. Wanted to take the gondola but it was 72 euro($100) for 50 minutes. So we said hell no. In Portici, we took the train to Pompeii to see the ruins. It was so cool.. ampitheaters, piazzas, fountains, forums, baths, brothels.. etc. Some places still had mosaics on the floors, and frescoes on the walls. Also, they had some of the people who were killed in the blast.. one of them you could see his teeth.. ick. Went to Caserta Palace the next day.. my friend wanted to see it because she had heard that it was where they had filmed the last scene of return of the jedi.. at the waterfall in the garden. however, we were half way there when it started raining harder, so we said sod it and went inside the palace to dry off before hopping the train. the inside was amazing.. everything was so opulent.. marble everywhere. When we got back, we found out that the book had lied.. it was actually Episode I and they had filmed the huge marble staircase as the inside of amidalas palace. lindsay hadn't taken any pictures inside.. so she was pissed. After Casrta, the same day, we took a train to Salerno to see the grave 0of my Great Uncle who is buried in the English cemetery there. He was killed in 1943 during the Battle of Salerno. I am the first one in the family to have visited his grave. Yesterday we hit the beach in Sorrento. We are so excited to be in t-shirts in November! Today in Rome we saw the Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and walked by the ancient city. We will head back and explore them tomorrow. Hope you are all doing well.

Haha new Update!
So, an amendment to earlier update. Looks like from Germany, we're heading to Italy for a few days. Venic first, then Florence, then on to Rome, Naples, and a afternoon in Salerno. Then we're heading back to France, going to Marseille, then up to Arles, Avignon, and then to Paris for a week. If we have train days left over, we'll hit Normandy then head to Calais and take the ferry to Dover. I am going to need some serious R&R when I get home.. just in time for Christmas/New Years parties........yay!
